The range of Stop valves Series STP has been expanded with the introduction of new valves equipped with a manual release button.

Stop valves are commonly used in pneumatics to stop the movement of actuators in case of a compressed air lack. They are usually mounted directly on the cylinder feeding ports and, in the absence of pneumatic supply, block the flow of air from the pressure chambers, effectively locking the piston in the position reached.

Sometimes, during maintenance, it is necessary to completely empty the pneumatic circuit. The new STP valves with a release button fulfill this function: available in sizes with G1/8" and G1/4" threads, they feature a manual button that, when pressed, releases any air still present in the circuit.
